Everything you need to know before you begin — and what to expect once you do.
What exactly is 7 Nights to Body Freedom?
+
A sleep-based therapeutic audio program for women who want to heal their relationship with food and their body. It combines theta binaural beats, Ericksonian hypnotherapy and sleep neuroplasticity — three approaches that work together at the most receptive state your brain enters each day: the threshold of sleep. The core program is 7 nights (~15 min each) plus a Continuation Library of 6 additional tracks for ongoing support.
How is this different from a meditation app or affirmations?
+
Meditation and affirmations work at the conscious level — they require effort, repetition and active participation. This program works at the subconscious level, in theta state, where the beliefs that drive behaviour actually live. You're not repeating statements you don't believe. You're creating the neurological conditions for your subconscious to arrive at new beliefs on its own — without resistance, without effort.
Who is this program designed for?
+
Women who have an unhealthy or exhausting relationship with food, eating, their bodies, or self-image — and have already tried the surface-level approaches. This includes emotional eating, binge-restrict cycles, food anxiety, body shame, and the constant mental overhead of tracking, monitoring and judging. It is not a medical treatment and is not a replacement for clinical care if you have a diagnosed eating disorder.
What do the 7 nights cover?
+
Each night builds on the last: Night 1 (The Unveiling) begins the process of bringing unconscious patterns to light. Night 2 (The Safety Signal) establishes nervous system safety. Night 3 (The Release) begins releasing the weight of old patterns. Night 4 (The Wound) addresses the original wound underneath the behaviour. Night 5 (The Permission) installs permission to be well. Night 6 (The Rewiring) builds new neural pathways. Night 7 (The Becoming) consolidates the transformation and anchors a new identity.
Do I need to stay awake and concentrate?
+
No — and you shouldn't try to. The program is designed to be listened to as you fall asleep. The theta binaural beats guide your brain to the hypnagogic threshold (the edge of sleep) where your subconscious is most receptive. If you fall fully asleep, the work continues. Waking up with little or no memory of the track is completely normal and means it worked exactly as designed.
What headphones do I need?
+
Stereo headphones are required for the theta binaural beats — this includes most in-ear earbuds and over-ear headphones. Sleep headphones (headband style) work very well for this program. Bluetooth is fine. Mono earbuds (single earbud) will not work for the theta frequencies. The exceptions are The Craving Dissolve and The Before-Event Calm, which have no theta component and work through any device including speakers.
Yes — and it's actively encouraged. The Replay Principle is core to the program design. Each time you return to a track, the therapeutic suggestion goes deeper. There's no ceiling on repetition. Many women cycle through the full 7 nights two or three times before moving to the Continuation Library.
The audio continues after the voice ends — is that normal?
+
Yes, this is intentional. Each main track has an ambient tail of 3-5 minutes after the voice ends. This gives your nervous system space to integrate the session before the sound fades completely. Do not be alarmed — it is part of the therapeutic design, not a technical error.
Do I need to listen on consecutive nights?
+
Consecutive nights are ideal for the initial sequence, but life happens. Missing a night doesn't reset the work — simply continue from where you were. The neuroplasticity compounds over time regardless of exact spacing. What matters is returning, not perfect sequential completion.
What if I don't feel anything happening?
+
This is the most common experience — and it's exactly how it's supposed to work. Ericksonian hypnotherapy is designed to bypass the conscious mind's tendency to analyse and resist. Changes often appear as quiet absences rather than dramatic moments: the urge that didn't come, the meal you ate without guilt, the conversation with your reflection that wasn't as cruel as usual. Notice what isn't happening.
How quickly will I see results?
+
Some women notice shifts within the first 2-3 nights. Others notice gradual changes over weeks as the work compounds. Neuroplasticity is individual — your nervous system changes at the pace it's ready for. What we consistently hear is that something has shifted quietly by the end of the 7-night sequence, even when people weren't sure it was working.
What if I have a strong emotional reaction?
+
Unexpected emotion — tears, a wave of grief, sudden anger or profound calm — is a sign the session reached something real. This is not a malfunction, it's the work. Night 4 (The Wound) and The Mother Wound track are the most likely to evoke this. Give yourself space after these sessions. If something feels too intense, pause the program and return when you're ready. This work belongs to you — you set the pace entirely.
Is this hypnosis? Will I lose control?
+
Hypnosis is simply a state of focused relaxation — you remain aware and in control at all times. You cannot be made to do anything against your will or values. Ericksonian hypnotherapy specifically uses permissive, indirect language — suggestions and invitations, never commands. You can open your eyes and stop the track at any moment. Nothing happens to you; the session creates conditions for you to shift.
